About the Artist
Marks is a resident of Louisiana and received his degree from Louisiana State University. His work may be found at Grand Contemporary in Lafayette, Ann Connelly in Baton Rouge, Jenkins-Connelly in New Orleans, and Blue Gallery in Three Oaks, Michigan. Marks is curator of Grand Contemporary in Lafayette. He is a past member of Studio 801 in Baton Rouge. He has held solo exhibitions at Art for Arts Sake and White Linen Night in New Orleans, and at Ann Connelly Fine Art in Baton Rouge. His work appears regularly at group shows throughout south Louisiana, and has exhibited in San Francisco, New York City, Dallas, and High Point, North Carolina. Marks has dedicated the last two years to developing a small artist community in his home town of Arnaudville, LA.
