Huff Harrington Fine Art

Sarah Sullivan
If we had been asked to write a description for the ideal candidate for the job of Gallery Manager at Huff Harrington, we would have unknowingly written Sarah Sullivan’s resume.  A native Atlantan, Sarah attended Marist School and graduated from Vanderbilt with a degree in Art History and a minor in French.

After interning  with different art galleries in Atlanta, Sarah went on to get her Master’s Degree at Sotheby’s in New York, where she learned the ins and outs of the art business world.  If you add to that her passion for art, her love of France, her wonderful writing skills, her fun sense of humor and her bottomless well of knowledge, you’ve got the perfect candidate – or Sarah!  How lucky we are.  She keeps us beautifully organized and our artists and clients alike love her sweet disposition and easy-going nature.  Its Sarah's abilities, talents and over two years' experience at Huff Harrington Fine Art that have enabled us to branch out and open Huff Harrington Home.

Linda Mohan
Linda Mohan
It seemed like pure serendipity that brought Linda Mohan to us.  We were desperately looking for help at the gallery and a friend suggested we call her stylish, world-traveled and art-loving neighbor.  When Linda showed up in her trademark white patent leather trenchcoat, she was hired!  Linda never ceases to amaze us with her positive, upbeat and sparkling personality (honed, she says, from years of working as an international flight attendant for American Airlines).  Her can-do attitude and friendly spirit has won praise from our clients and from both our American and French artists.  She is the possessor of a keen eye for art (her first love is abstracts) and we always appreciate and listen to her fresh perspective on paintings.

Linda’s truly a team player here at the gallery and willingly takes on every task and project handed to her.  We know for a fact that her yoga-toned arms are very strong (when in France on gallery buying trips, her nickname is “Sherparella” because of her ability to gracefully manage bags, carry-ons and portfolios filled with paintings from our French artists).  She is quick and adept at hanging, cataloguing, photographing, storing and managing the other hundreds of things that go into making the gallery run smoothly.

This intrepid and fun traveler was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in communications.  She shares with us all a deep love for all things French (Linda especially loves French flea markets and Veuve Cliquot champagne) and always brightens our days with her joie de vivre.

Linda is married to Dan, lives in Atlanta and has two sons.

Sam Jones
Sam Jones
Who knew that when Sam Jones showed up  at Huff Harrington Fine Art to plant the window boxes for the grand opening, she would end up making great new friends and be given an opportunity to start her new favorite career.....selling art!

With a background in accounting, marketing, real estate, restaurant management, floral and interior design and a passion for all forms of art, Sam says this was like hitting the mother lode.  "I can't believe they pay me to be surrounded by all this fabulous art and I get to work with the wonderful clients and artists who come in.”

Sam has become an invaluable addition to our gallery staff, with her discriminating eye, her plethora of marketing ideas, her clever sense of humor and her friendly personality.   But perhaps one of her most valuable assets is her successful side-business, the "Artful Makeover," which has proven to be invaluable to our clients, particularly in this economy.  We were told by mutual friends that if you leave Sam alone in your room for a few minutes, she will rearrange all the furniture.  So we put her to the test in our own homes, and discovered that after an hour or so, Sam had performed miracles and we’d fallen in love with our homes all over again!  This talented renaissance woman has helped dozens of our clients who just need a little help making their homes more comfortable, inviting and up-to-date.  And since art is her first love, the real magic comes from her ability to showcase the art and have it sing in its surroundings.

Sam says this about her work at the gallery and with clients: “It is such a pleasure, I'd almost do it for free.....but   shh...don't tell them.   And yes, I still have to water the window boxes.”

* For the Artful Makeoever, Sam’s fees are billed as follows:  The first hour of consultation is complimentary, and she charges $75 per hour after that.  We actually can’t count the number of our clients who have told us it was the best money they ever spent!  We hope to have some Artful Makeoever before and after photos to share with you soon.
